Does anyone have an idea how to decompress the Tomb Raider Legends archive format?

Never seen it.
Is there some small playable demo available for download ? So far I found only large 500MB demos, thats too much ...

No, unfortunately there aren't any smaller demos available.
I'm also using the 500mb demo, and the archive files in there (there are 5 of them) have a total size of 705 mb...

*Remembers the old days when doom demos came out on floppy disks*

this tool can read the data into te big file ot tombraider legend and i suppose the 3d models files are the .shp files

Oh hell, and I have been sitting in front of my hex editor the whole night.
But I have been able to decode the format, too...

And I will write my own ripper for it.

is what hex2float.exe convert the hexadécimal to a 3d point in the X Y Z coordinates

i have tested with a simple box.txt (ms3d ascii) and ultraédit and i found the same values as the model

how to recover the faces?
